Iris barnumae

Barnum’s iris

Named in honour of Mary Barnum, née Goodell. Her husband, Herman Norton Barnum (1826-1910) was a missionary at Harpoot, Turkey, from 1859 to 1910. She sent various specimens of Iris to Foster, who described the novelties.
